Today I am making a rare appearance on this site- so make the most of it as I don't know when I'll be back again!
I already spend far too much time on Facebook and MySpace as it is, and with a busy time ahead I won't have much more time for extra blogs!
Have spent the last six months doing my job (Belly Dance Teacher) and getting increasingly busy. But the main new development is that I am now a fully fledged Radio Presenter! I have been doing my own show on Stratford Comminuty Radio since last Christmas, and am only now begginning to feel like I am getting a handle on it! But it feels as if there is still an awful lot to learn....The show, called 'The Alternative Show' has now recently expanded into two hours, and I've also got myself a lovely assistant in Peter Keynton-Hook (Meditation teacher), so we are both bursting with ideas and stuff we can do, as well as having a few really good interviews under our belts. It feels as if we are doing a good job, but more importantly that we have both been guided to do this. Sometimes you just get a gut feeling that you should do a thing, and I've learnt to trust this feeling- so I'm delighted that it has happenned, and am doing my best to make the most of it. But I have felt for some time that part of my 'job description' for being placed on this earth is to disseminate spiritual and esoteric information to the public- to form a bridge between spirit and humanity, and explain things in a way that isn't scary or weird. And of course radio is a perfect opportunity to do this!
Anyway, this blog is already getting a bit rambly, so I'll sign off for now, but will be back soon-ish......
