There are in total 144 Sun/Ascendant sign combinations, 144 Sun/Moon sign combinations, & 144 Sun/Chinese sign combinations, rather more than the 12 Sun signs we all know so well. This is before all other planets & their positions are taken into account. For instance, someone could have a Sun in one sign, Ascendant in a different one, & Moon sign in another totally different depending on their birth details, this can seem a bit confusing, but is very interesting to work out, & makes Astrology much more personal.
