Why I Joined

I often wonder why people sign up to networks and don't interact. Why did you sign up to Spirit Mind Body Network?

A few things that have crossed my mind as to why, such as, they are waiting for something interesting before getting stuck in. They don't think they have anything to contribute. Is was just an "in thing" to do. They didn't want to be seen as not part of something or was it to find others like ourselves connect and communicate with them but it's all too much of an effort to keep up with it all.

I would appreciate a few minutes for you tell me why you joined, in this group aptly named "Why I Joined" and if you don't visit normally, why?

I would really love to know!

The most honest answer will get a 6 months, 200px X 200px banner advertising with link to their site, on front page of Spirit Mind Body. Answers to be posted on wall by 31st July 2011.

Hi Loren

I signed up simply as i was drawn to your beautiful site.

Firstly i loved the aesthetics and then inspired by what you were using your site to do. As i have liked to do something not exactly the same but of similar benefit to soo many people.

But unfortunately like many of us westerners, simply find it difficult to find the time to interact etc especially having m.e. , my time and energy is very precious.

I am suprised though at how beautiful the site is that there isnt as much buzz as there should be

Hello Loren,
The reason I first joined this site is because I am in the process of setting up my own Website and online shop and my son (who designed the site) advised thaty it would be good practice to look at/participate in other sites to not only spread the word about my own site, but to familiarize myself with the wants and needs of the very people I wish to attract to it.
In 'surfing' the sites I was attracted to this site by it's appearance and the 'friendly atmosphere' it portrayed and then 'sold' on it by finding my old friend Moonwillow was an active part of the team.
Of course there is also the little detail that I was clearly destined to be involved when I was, as I almost immediatly won her lovely book of prose!

The reasons I have not been involved in the site very much since joining are twofold,
A: I work away from home and have very intermitant access to the
internet a lot of the time (a main reason for trying to setup the
aformentioned site.
B: The powers that be so fit to leave us with no internet for the last
month at home - I love living in France but I sooo miss the ease of
access to that sort of thing we have in England.
C: Like Moonwillow, I have been visiting the site when able but have
not contributed, just looked around (mostly due to time limitations
and connectivity restraints imposed by the work isues.

I truely hope that these issues are now a thing of the past and hope to be a much more active member from here on in.

Hello,

The reasons I joined Sprit Mind Body on line network are to connect with other like minded people and also in the near future to use your advertising service for book release, event & workshop.

I have not left comment or ask members to connect with me but I usually login and browse to see if there are any events or workshop in my area. I will communicate more often from now on. Thank you.
