Set-up in 1979 by the very charismatic Ray Sherwin, Hermitage Oils was one of the first mail-order businesses to offer medical grade essential oils in the UK.

In 2005 Ray Sherwin hand selected the very ambitious Adam Michael, founder of Blue Essence and customer of Hermitage Oils to takeover his business. Ray has remained on board and works in an advisory role solely to Adam.

Now a family run business based in the sunshine city of Hull. We are a business that is truly customer focused, down to earth and easy to deal with. We have strong knowledge of the commodities we offer and if by chance there is something we don’t know, we won’t pretend to.

All our no-nonsense black & white labelling clearly states the botanical name, batch code and expiry date. We use recycled paper labels.
